1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the MedVeda app and medveda.in (the "Service"), operated by MedVeda ("MedVeda", "we"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter a contract in India, or use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. You must provide accurate registration details.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your login details and for all activity under your account. Do not share your account. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised use. One person, one account.
4. Licence to use content
All notes, videos, tests and other content in the Service are owned by MedVeda or its licensors. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to view content for your own study. You must not copy, share, resell, upload, redistribute, publicly display or make derivative works from content; you must not take screenshots or screen recordings of paid notes or use tools to bypass the app's protections; and you must not share your paid access with others.
5. Purchases and access
- Video lectures and MCQ tests are free. PDF notes are sold as paid packages, unless a note is marked free.
- Notes can be sold per chapter, per subject, per academic year or as a multi-year bundle. Your purchase gives access to the content in that package for the course it was bought for.
- Prices are shown in the app before you pay. All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes, if any. Any applicable taxes are included in the displayed price.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay; you also agree to Razorpay's terms when you pay. Access is granted after payment is confirmed. See our Delivery Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Access is for your personal account only. Purchased content has no fixed expiry. Access continues for as long as your account is active and the content is offered on the platform, subject to these Terms.
6. Referral programme
When enabled, the Refer & Earn programme lets you share a code with friends. Rewards, eligibility conditions, and limits are configured by MedVeda, may differ over time, and are shown in the app. We may reject or reverse a referral and disqualify participants for abuse, including self-referral, fake accounts or automated sign-ups. We may change or end the programme at any time.
7. Prohibited use
You must not: break the law; interfere with or attempt unauthorised access to the Service or its servers; reverse-engineer or scrape it; upload malicious code; use another person's account; misuse the referral or payment systems; or use the Service to harass others.
8. Intellectual property
The MedVeda name, logo, app and content are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing here transfers ownership to you.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or misuse the Service, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see Account & Data Deletion). Sections that by nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Content is educational only, see our Disclaimer. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or any exam result.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedVeda will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or loss of data, profit or opportunity arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Dhule, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept it. The effective date above shows the current version.
